The Catalyst Team is seeking a Adobe Commerce Architect to join our full-time team as full-time employee.

We are currently looking for an to join our team. This is a leadership role with an opportunity to push the boundaries of your knowledge and grow your career through leading teams in implementing ecommerce solutions and providing architectural expertise and guidance to clients and internal teams.

• Design, develop and implement Adobe Commerce solutions
• Integrate with major external systems including ERP, CRM, OMS, payment gateways, middleware and other systems
• Participate in pre/post-sales technical scoping, requirements gathering, and solution creation/review
• Analyze, understand, and solve business challenges for current and future state needs
• Conduct technical discovery sessions directly with prospects and clients
• Support requirements creation, definition, and understanding amongst all team members
• Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use
• Oversee and support PMs on status calls and sprint grooming, planning, and maintenance
• Provide technical oversight to the development team
• Write clean, modular, robust code to implement requirements with little or no supervision
• Prepare and provide client facing technical follow-up calls and documentation
• Work with the QA and support teams to triage and fix bugs with rapid turnaround
• Utilize and support modern deployment practices using CI/CD pipelines and testing
• Develop launch plans with managers and team leads, and engage in production deployments
• Quickly adjust and support changing priorities per business needs
• Identify and escalate risks (deadline, performance, etc.)
• Research new integration and plug-in capabilities
• Collaborate with architects and team leads to develop and refine standardized processes

• 6+ years' experience with PHP and Magento
• 3+ years' experience with Magento 2/Adobe Commerce
• Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud
• Experience leading project implementations and mentoring development teams
• Exceptional problem-solving skills / excellent communication and analytical skills
• Fluent in English
• Strong understanding of Adobe Commerce architecture, design, theming, functional enhancements, optimization & integration methods
• Experience with most of the following: PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, SOAP/REST, HTML, CSS, Ajax, AWS/Azure, CI/CD, API management frameworks, GIT
• Ability to develop API integrations with other major systems (ERP, CRM, PIM, Payments, etc)
• Knowledge of how to identify and execute performance optimizations
• Experience with full lifecycle of software development including use of version control tools, build management, unit testing, issue tracking software (i.e. GitHub, Confluence, JIRA)
• Committed and dependable team player who can work with people of all levels/backgrounds
